The Old Growth Collection
Collection pieces are milled from salvaged old growth coast redwood and priced individually. When one sells it is gone, because the material to build a second does not exist.
Questions we get
Once a piece is reserved, crating and scheduling typically take one to two weeks, and transit time depends on the destination. A local Santa Cruz or Bay Area delivery can happen within days. Cross country delivery is normally two to four weeks door to door. You get a firm window before payment.
Yes. The shop is at 2533C Mission Street in Santa Cruz and visits are by appointment. If you cannot get here, we will shoot additional photographs and video in natural light, including any marks or characteristics that the listing photograph does not show. We would rather over disclose than have a piece arrive as a surprise.
Yes. Every finished piece here was built individually from specific material, and when one sells it is gone. We can build something similar, but a second piece from different stock is a different piece, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Sometimes. A base can occasionally be changed, and a finish can occasionally be adjusted. Dimensions generally cannot, because the top is already cut. Ask, and you will get a straight answer about what is possible and what it would add.
